For years, Erin Benzakein and the folks at Floret have been focusing on creating more color varieties within Zinnias. There are so many shapes and sizes of zinnias already, but Floret's goal was to specifically create more muted and blush tones to bring zinnias into wedding floral designers toolboxes. From years of watching their trials through their beautiful blog and photos, it looks like they're there. For the first time ever, they're making them available to gardeners & growers, and we are beyond excited! We're really looking forward to growing them and making them available to you!
We've always loved the soft feathery blooms of celosia. They offer so much texture, detail and color to any arrangement. We began growing Floret Celosia ('Texas Plume' & 'Champagne') in 2020, but we are 'over the moon' (and rainbow) for the new varieties, textures and colors that Floret has been hard at work to develop. We can't wait to grow them out and use them in bouquets and arrangements for you. Make sure you subscribe to our 'Hive' newsletter for growing photos and updates.
We know darn good and well that dahlia seeds have a million different potential genetic combinations, but part of the fun of dahlias is the waiting to see what emerges. We'll keep you posted with photos in our newsletter.
